WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

Submitting a claim & being approved for disability benefits from the Social Security Administration is a multi-step process that can be both challenging and confusing.

Only about one-third of claims are approved at the initial level & must be appealed within 60 days of the date of your denial notice.

Having a qualified disability representative can help navigate your claim through the complexities of the disability determination process. This will make your experience less frustrating.

Do I EVEN QUALIFY?

Here are the Five Steps the Social Security Administration uses to determine if you are disabled:

are you WORKING?

If you worked the calendar year and averaged more than a $1070 a month in earnings you typically will not be considered disabled.

SEVERE CONDITION?

To be considered disabled, your condition must impede you from doing basic activities required to perform your previous job.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS?

If your health problem is not listed on Social Security list, you may not qualify for disability.

CAN YOU WORK?

If needed, we will have an expert evaluate you and testify at the hearing about your ability to perform your previous work.

OTHER

WORK?

If the Social Security Administration decides you cannot do the work you did before, they will consider your ability to do other kinds of work.
